LoveWorks is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization. Our school was established to provide students in the Minneapolis area with an exceptional educational foundation. To achieve this mission, we continually invest in our facility, academic curriculum, instructional technology, family support services and staff development. Our school is populated with students who have the greatest need for quality public education is greatest.

Monetary Gifts

Cash contributions can be given by check or credit card (Visa, Mastercard) and will normally entitle you to a tax deduction for the amount of the gift.

Many employers sponsor matching gift programs and will match any charitable contributions made by their employees. To find out if your company has a matching gift policy, please call your human resources department.

If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to Loveworks Academy may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

Gifts-in-Kind

Gifts-in-Kind are tangible gifts of personal property, such as books, school supplies, technology, furnishings, artwork, historical collections and equipment. Periodically during the school year, we will post a Loveworks”Wish List” that will go toward special needs of our students. Assets related to the educational mission of Loveworks Academy are tax-deductible for their full fair market value. Personal property unrelated to Loveworks’ mission can be deducted at the cost to the donor.

Volunteerism

We also welcome volunteers to assist with school events, student clubs, parent gatherings and fundraising. If you are new to your Loveworks Academy community or simply want to become active in your school program, volunteering is the perfect way to get to know others and contribute.

Planned Giving

You can make a planned gift by naming Loveworks Academy in your will, trust, life insurance policy, or retirement plan.
