Kyna Bate-Boyle (Special Ed Teacher)

Hello,

My name is Kyna Bate-Boyle and I am from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I graduated out east with a B.S. in Elementary Education 1st-6th grade. I am recently entering Augsburg’s Master of Arts in Education program for Special Education K-12th grade. I have been teaching at Loveworks Academy since it’s opening in 2005. I have taught in various types of educational settings ranging from rural to urban, public to private and charter schools.

The moment I walked through the doors of Loveworks Academy I knew this is where I wanted to teach. The warm inviting staff and atmosphere, the teacher student relationships and the nurturing environment swept me in. I have been teaching here ever since. I have had the fortunate opportunity to teach various grade levels within Loveworks Academy. I will now be taking on the Special Education Instructor position this 2010-2011 school year.

I have always been passionate about education. I believe it is important as an educator to continue to evolve, learn and inspire. As a mother of two children myself (Tony 3 and Kamylla 19 months) I believe it is extremely important to provide our children with the right resources to enable them to grow and flourish. It is my job as an educator to provide all of my students with this same passion. My priorities are my young children and teaching. My hobbies include yoga and swimming, cooking and traveling.

“The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher inspires.”
